Investment in Birth Support

Most families invest between $2,200–$2,850 depending on the level of support.

Each package is designed to meet you where you are — whether you’re looking for steady guidance or more comprehensive, hands-on support throughout pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum.

  • When you choose doula support, you gain a partner who:

    • Listens deeply to your goals and desires

    • Helps you explore options with clarity and compassion

    • Offers comfort and reassurance during labor

    • Supports your partner or loved one in meaningful ways

    • Acts as an anchor when decisions feel big or unclear

    • Creates calm, focused energy in the birthing space

There are no judgment calls here—only presence, guidance, and informed choice.

  • Birth preparation isn’t just a few conversations—it’s a process that helps you feel calm, informed, and confident. Together we’ll:

    • Talk through your hopes, questions, and any concerns

    • Explore comfort measures, labor rhythm, and coping techniques

    • Clarify what matters most to you for your birth experience

    • Build confidence for the unpredictable nature of labor

  • A trained birth doula provides a steady, compassionate presence once labor begins:

    • You’re supported physically, emotionally, and practically

    • I offer comfort measures rooted in real experience

    • Your partner receives guidance on how to be involved

    • You never feel alone during your transition into birth

    • I help you navigate decisions with calm clarity

    • Support continues through early postpartum settling

This is evidence-based, continuous support—not infrequent check-ins or transactional care.

  • What is a birth doula?

A birth doula is a trained support person who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational care throughout pregnancy and labor. You can think of a doula as a compassionate companion — someone who helps translate your hopes into practice and supports you through the process.

What if my labor is long or unexpected?

Every labor looks different. I am on call and present for you — without time limits or judgment. My role is to remain a steady, supportive presence whether labor moves quickly, slowly, or takes an unexpected turn.

    • A travel fee may apply if your birth location is more than 30 miles away

    • HSA/FSA payments are accepted

    • Insurance reimbursement may be available through programs such as Carrot, Kaiser Permanente, Providence, MODA, OHSU, and others

I believe financial clarity helps you plan with confidence — because feeling supported starts with knowing what to expect.

  • When you choose Birthing Days, you’re choosing support that feels:

    • Attentive

    • Non-judgmental

    • Evidence-based

    • Warmly practical

You won’t be alone through any of it. We’ll navigate this together—with steady support that honors your journey.
