Hi, I’m Kim — Here to Support You Through Birth and Beyond
I’m Kim Sabin—a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, certified sleep consultant, and the heart behind Birthing Days. Truly, I’m so glad you’re here.
For years, I’ve supported families through pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and early parenthood. I’ve seen how everything begins to shift when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported—confidence grows, fear softens, and even the most overwhelming moments start to feel more manageable.
At the core of my work is steady, compassionate, and judgment-free support. My goal is to help you feel informed and confident—not rushed, pressured, or unsure—so you can make decisions that feel right for you and your family.
Whether we’re preparing for birth, navigating the early postpartum weeks, working through infant sleep, or adjusting to the many transitions of new parenthood, my care is centered on you—your values, your goals, and your emotional wellbeing.
Why I do This Work
Becoming a parent is one of the most transformative experiences in life. It’s powerful, deeply meaningful, and at times, it can feel uncertain or overwhelming.
I’ve seen how much it matters to have someone by your side who truly listens—without judgment, without pressure, and without fear-based language. The kind of support that helps you feel steady, informed, and able to trust yourself.
I believe every family deserves care that feels:
Personalized — because no two journeys are the same
Evidence-based — so you can make informed, confident decisions
Compassionate — because feeling safe and supported matters
It’s an honor to walk alongside families during this season—helping you move through birth and early parenthood with more confidence, more clarity, and a sense of calm.
A Little About Me
Outside of Support Work
I’m an Oregon native who truly loves all four seasons—and the quiet, subtle beauty each one brings. Home has always mattered to me, and so has creating a life that feels grounded, connected, and meaningful.
I’ve been married to my husband—my best friend—for over 24 years, and together we’re raising three incredible kids who continue to teach and inspire me every day.
When I’m not supporting families, you’ll usually find me:
Lost in a really good book
Starting the day with a walk or workout
Camping and spending time outdoors with my family
Cheering on the Oregon Ducks or the Notre Dame Fighting Irish
It’s these everyday moments—the quiet, meaningful ones—that keep me grounded and remind me why this work matters so much to me.

What You Can Expect With Birthing Days
At Birthing Days, I believe support should feel steady, respectful, and deeply attuned to you. This season of life isn’t something to rush through or “get right”—it’s something to be supported through with care, clarity, and trust.
My approach is grounded in a simple philosophy: when you feel informed, emotionally supported, and truly heard, you’re able to make decisions with confidence and move through birth and early parenthood with more calm and ease.
That’s the kind of support I offer to every family I work with.
This may look like:
Thoughtful, personalized preparation for birth
Continuous, compassionate support through labor and delivery
Nurturing, steady care in the postpartum period
Gentle, realistic guidance with infant sleep
You’ll be met with respect, clarity, and a calm, grounded presence—never pressure, fear-based advice, or judgment.
It’s the kind of support I believe every family deserves, and the kind I wish more people had during their earliest days of parenthood.
Let’s Connect
If you’re looking for support that feels calm, respectful, and designed for your unique journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
